Why all the hubbub over an unassuming, little white tube?

Few Australian companies have launched a product in the United States with as much support as biotech startup Arthritis Relief Plus and 4Jointz.

ARP was selected by the Queensland Government for its inaugural Ignite Ideas initiative, intended to help bring innovative ideas to the global market. The company is also supported by the Australian federal government’s highly-competitive San Francisco Landing Pad startup initiative, providing immersion in the RocketSpace innovation ecosystem, which launched Uber and Spotify.

Why all the hubbub over an unassuming, little white tube?

Perhaps it’s the overwhelming need. Arthritis affects more than one in five American adults, 52.5 million in all, according to the Center for Disease Control. It’s among six chronic health problems the CDC calls “the most common, costly, and preventable of all health problems,” and the Huffington Post calls “the leading cause of disability in the U.S.”

Reduced pain, reduced stiffness, other benefits anticipated for 4Jointz

4Jointz started as an oily, messy “goop” CEO and Founder Persis Anderson applied to her police officer father Big Bill’s knees. Since then, evidence-based product development turned its Acteev® technology into a novel combination of safe and powerful natural ingredients known to assist tissue damage/growth with counterirritant and anti-oxidative properties.

The formula has been independently scientifically tested at major universities including Stanford and Oklahoma State, with strong results published in peer-reviewed medical journals.

It is anticipated 4Jointz could provide significant savings to the community by:

“I’m quite happy to support it,” Dr. Graeme Jones, the senior researcher at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research’s Musculoskeletal Group, after an independent study. Dr. Jones calls 4Jointz “an important addition to the osteoarthritis treatment options.”

“This product works, and it works very well,” Dr. Brad Hayes, an American chiropractic doctor said. “You compare this to other products, and it knocks it right out of the park, and I’m even talking about prescription products. And you don’t have the side effects.”

What started as a poultice for Big Bill has since inspired many others who’ve tried it to offer their wholehearted praise: “I really couldn’t recommend this product any higher,” Joy Ham says. Tim Rowlands calls 4Jointz a “godsend,” while Joe Ganim calls it “incredible,” and Lynne Henderson adds “absolutely fantastic.”
